Last week, our team had the opportunity to travel to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort for a training retreat. It was a lovely change of pace in the midst of the busy work week, but we are excited to be back, refreshed and ready to kick off strong! We’d love to start by sharing with all of you some of the things we shared and learned.
The first portion of our day was spent reviewing our year in 2017. We followed along through a presentation that outlined achievements by each department, assessing 2017 results by category, and introducing goals and upcoming news for 2018. Taking the time to do this piece by piece is so important for us, as it allows us to recognize things that were successful and should be continued, as well as ways in which we can better serve our customers. We truly want to give every person who interacts with us the best possible experience, so we used the next segment of our meeting to discuss how we can make that happen.
It can be challenging to get us all together in one room for an extended period of time, but we managed to do it, and it was wonderfully eye-opening! We were able to outline the full lifecycle of an Infinity Homeowner from their first interaction, all the way through their post-closing experience. For newer employees, it was a great chance to learn the ins and outs of each step in the process, whether it be Sales, Selections, Production, etc. For some more seasoned employees, it was a neat opportunity to explore how each piece of the puzzle can be carried out with even more finesse.
After learning from each part of our team, we closed out the day with a massive brainstorming session! The tone of the day was set by title slide of the presentation, which featured our mission statement:
With those words in mind, we all contributed ideas on how we can be constantly improving our process from start to finish. After all, our homeowners’ experiences are our top priority. We couldn’t be more excited to share our ideas with you!
